Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said: Our hearts go out to the victims and their families and the community is deeply saddened at this tragedy.

The heroic actions of the officers likely prevented a greater tragedy. Oak Creek is a diverse and welcoming community; we have 23 churches of different faiths in our City. The Sikh Community has been a valuable part of the City of Oak Creek.
