(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Chelsea Clinton is coming to Oregon this weekend. The former first daughter will visit Oregon State University on Saturday on behalf of her mother, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton. Chelsea will speak from 3:30 to 5:00 PM in the Memorial Union Lounge. She will also address Oregon Democrats at their convention Saturday at 1:15 PM in Eugene. She will also make a visit to Portland State University. Oregon State officials are expecting overflow crowds for the event. It is not yet known if tickets will be needed for the event. Hillary spent last weekend in Oregon holding events in Portland and Eugene. The Associated Press reported today that former Oregon Democratic governors Barbara Roberts and John Kitzhaber are endorsing Barack Obama for president, while current governor, Ted Kulongoski, who is also a Democrat, is backing Hillary. Obama's campaign plans to open offices in Medford and Salem this weekend. Clinton's campaign opened an office in Portland on Monday. Oregon's primary will be held May 20th, and has 52 delegates at stake. A recent SurveyUSA poll for Oregon has Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton, 52% to 42%.
