Tiger Tiger Burning Bright: Why Were Thousands Cheering?

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - I watched the recent Masters Golf Tournament as did millions of others in 200 countries.

Although there have been dozens of TV reporters salivating while propounding their tut tuts over Tiger’s recent marital problems, I think they were salivating for different reasons.

I wrote a related article, Sex Addiction, Polygamy, Satyrism & Nymphomania This is the News for Salem-News.com January 26, 2010, I now think about Hugh Hefner. Others have tut tutted about him while salivating^[1].

With some reservations, I write about sex and the human condition. It appears that both men AND women seek sex partners and sexual relations. In fact recent articles and TV programs featured the subject at is pertains to women with, for example, an article Sex, Drink and Feminism in which one author wrote, “young women flaunt their hard drinking and unashamed promiscuity and one goes by the name ‘slut machine’”. I’m not making this up! In fact a probable cousin of mine Sandrine Leveque, campaigns manager of OBJECT a human rights organization, writes extensively about the subject. I found it in New York Times Leveque. There are a bunch of stories there about and by my Leveque cousins.

Getting back to the TIGER. Everyone agrees that he is a very likeable fellow and a billionaire. I don’t have to imagine women getting an acute case of “round heels” in his presence. I wouldn’t be surprised if many hoped to become pregnant. What a deal!

I look upon those cheering him as those men AND women both quietly saying to themselves, boy am I glad I didn’t get caught.

I punched up Tiger Woods on my computer. I’ve already said he was/is a billionaire. Why? He has won hundreds of tournament. His best unbelievable score for 18 holes is 59 at St. Andrews. I imagine even the Scots are spinning in their graves on that. His best score for 72 holes is 269 or 19 under par at St. Andrews. His first appearance at the Masters left dozens of top golfers in complete disbelief how this young kid could literally “run them out of town”.

I decided to search the current comments about tiger. These were about 95%. Complimentary and positives with very few jealously negative and a few deleted by the Masters Editors. Some requoted the Bible, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone” and otherwise, “judge not that you be judged”.

In my opinion, there were many “judging not”.

One comment was from Indonesia “harinau hebat” – Tiger Win. It took a lot of guts for Tiger to expose himself to a potentially negative crowd, probably the largest in Masters history and they were screened. I cannot blame him for being hesitant to play before a non-screened crowd. He has already been exposed to hateful racial slurs and there are too many of them who are running around loose. –
