U.S. Won't be Represented at U.N. Anti-Racism Conference

As the year began, Israeli's were killing residents of Gaza on a 100 to 1 ratio in retribution for a few rockets fired by Hamas. Standing hand in hand with Israel, the U.S. will now bag out of the biggest anti-racism conference in the world because it criticizes Israel.

Salem-News.com
These are the real results of the Israeli attacks. At Salem-News.com, on the other side of the world, we have had many photos of kids killed in the attacks sent to us that we hesitate to publish, yet maybe that perpetuates the problem. Hamas operatives? Not likely.

(DURBAN, Africa) - So, what team are you on? Are you on the right team, or the wrong team? Do you base your existence solely on a religious doctrine that ultimately leads to mass killing, or on the basic premise of right and wrong?

I'm like most Americans who grew up believing without a doubt, that Israel was our ally and we were correct to be part of the same team. After all, these are the people who survived the persecution of the Nazi's; an Army that the Allied forces defeated in WWII, and it is fantastic that anyone in the Holocaust would live to have their day.

But people are people and maybe the whole problem is as simple as that. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely. I'm sure you've heard that one before. It isn't so much about who does it, than it is about the fact that it happens.

As the case would be with any nation, Israel had no right in December and January to plow their bombs into the roofs of Gazan homes and then use White Phosphorous illegally to burn and singe people to death.

They said it was because of Hamas rocket attacks that all told, only killed between 4 and 7 Israeli's. They killed little kids all over different parts of Gaza in retribution for rocket attacks.

The prejudice exhibited by Israel's policies toward the Palestinian people is gut wrenching and wrong by any measurement. Indeed, Israel's moral compass seems like it spent too much time in the Bermuda Triangle, and all too often the "settlers" and expansionists are bullies who cow and intimidate Palestinians on a regular basis to increase Israel's reach.

Remember that this place was 100% Palestinian until 1947 and 1948 when Israel wrenched the land and homes away from their rightful owners. You can justify it if you want to, but Israel is a nation purely comprised of prejudice and it began with the Biblical justification that Israel is the land of the Jews.

In reality, the holy places that now fall inside Israel's borders are precious to people not just of the Jewish faith, but also Christianity and Islam.

According to reports from credible non-U.S. news sources, the Israeli attitude often is, "God gave it to me" and that doesn't leave the Palestinian people whose families have lived here for centuries, in a very good position.

And on that note, the United States has announced that it will boycott the upcoming UN-led anti-racism conference citing the event's anti-Israeli draft document.

That means that if you don't play the game and give Israel a free pass for murder, the U.S. won't be attending.

State Department Spokesman Robert Wood said a new version of the document produced for approval by the conference next week is a big improvement on earlier drafts, but falls short of meeting U.S. approval.

"The Obama administration will with regret boycott a UN conference on racism next week over objectionable language in the meeting's final document that could single out Israel for criticism and restrict free speech," the State Department said in a statement Saturday.

He says the document still contains what they call a one-sided view of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.

I sure agree with that statement, but in a reverse context.

The United States' blind support of Israel leaves blood on the hands of the American taxpayer and it is a rotten deal; I for one don't want to be connected to it, yet we all are as a result of our complacency.

In the recent attacks against Gaza over Hamas rocket attacks, over 1,400 Gazans were killed, with hundreds and hundreds of children among the names.

When innocent Jewish children were killed by the Nazi's, the world, in the late 1930's, hesitated and then reacted with total resolve to crush Hitler's war machine.

But when Israel kills innocent children by the hundred, and the United Nations schools are attacked, and practically the whole world objects, the United States looks the other way.

The anti-racism conference will take place in Geneva, Switzerland April 20th through 25th, without the representation of your nation.

Washington and Tel Aviv had also walked out of the previous conference in Durban, South Africa in protest at its draft declaration among other things.

They slammed the 2001 conference held in Durban, South Africa, for being anti-Semitic because it brought into focus Israel's ill-treatment of the Palestinians and attempted to pass a resolution likening Zionism to racism.

The United States of Israel, and yet another puppet president. Did I not tell you? http://www.ccmep.org/delegations/maps/palestine.html

It only makes sense that the two most racist nations on Earth would not attend an Anti-Racism Conference. If we did attend, it would just be for show and to monitor any anti-Israel sentiments. This is a far cry from the America I learned about in grade school..we have become a colony of Israel.
