Keizer Police Arrest Two in Shooting Death

An autopsy was conducted on the victim, who died of a gunshot wound.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Keizer Police arrested two suspects in a deadly shooting this week that claimed the life of a local 21-year old man named Travis Clawson. Keizer's Homicide Assault Response Team is continuing to investigate the shooting death from December 1, 2009.

Keizer Police Lt. Jeff Kuhns, says Mr. Clawson died as a result of his injuries shortly after 4:00 a.m. on December 2, 2009, after being shot a few hours earlier. (see: Keizer Police Investigate Fatal Shooting )

On December 2, 2009, Dr. Chris Young, of the State Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy on Mr. Clawson's body. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot.

On December 2, 2009. Keizer Police Officers arrested 22-year old Dustin Michael Freeman and 18-year old Miguel Aispuro for crimes connected with Mr. Clawson's death, Kuhns said.

"Both Mr. Freeman and Mr. Aispuro are currently housed at the Marion County Jail and have both been charged with Delivery of Marijuana, a Class B felony. Mr. Freeman and Mr. Aispuro will be arraigned at 3:00 p.m. on December 3, 2009, at the Marion County Court Annex, at 4000 Aumsville Hwy, Salem, Oregon."

He says the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information surrounding Mr. Clawson's death should contact the Keizer Police Department.

Further information will be released by the District Attorney's Office as it becomes available.
