Mavi Marmara Trial Continues in 2015

The next hearing is March 11-12, 2015, and many victims and witnesses will be called.

(Istanbul, TR) - The hearing on the Mavi Marmara attack - in which 10 Turkish citizens were killed by Israeli soldiers while taking humanitarian aid to Gaza - continued in the 7th criminal court in Istanbul today, on 9 Dec 2014 Tuesday.

During the 7th hearing, the court heard the testimonies of IHH’s Board Member Att. Gulden Sonmez, Turkish activist Mehmet Yıldırım, British activist Laura Stuart and Palestinian activist Ahsan Shamruk who was wounded on the head during the Israeli attack.

As a result, the court decided the next hearing to be held on March 11-12, 2015 and other victims and witnesses to testify.

The court had previously issued arrest warrants for Israeli Chief of General Staff, Naval and Air Forces Commanders and ordered an Interpol Red Notice for their arrest to be requested.
