This is the group's December 2012 edition of Special Interest Report (SIR) of the American Council for Judaism, Inc.

Founded in 1942, the Council is a national organization that offers an alternative expression of commitment for American Jews, reflecting the diversity within the Jewish community.

We are dedicated to the advancement of Judaism as a religion of universal and prophetic values, consonant with the ideals of a democratic society.

We embrace the spiritual obligations of our faith, as well as our civic responsibilities as loyal citizens of the United States.

Contributions to The American Council for Judaism are deductible for income tax purposes.
