The Knights-Errant of TJP

Fortunately, in this bleak landscape of universal despair, there are a few beacons of hope—beautiful hope—pointing to a different destiny: a future of truth, justice, and peace.

(TUCSON, Ariz.) - Tim King and his tireless band of peaceful warriors deserve an encomium for their efforts to spread truth, justice, and peace throughout the world instead of hate, oppression and imperialism, and Agron Belica has given it to the them in Beautiful Hope. Now supplied with an accompanying video, the pop & rock hit is set to make its rounds again.

The song articulates the hopes and dreams of a mankind yearning for an end to war, oppression, and exploitation—excepting, of course, those of us who profit from these chronic social diseases which are deadlier and more costly in terms of life, mental and physical health, and treasure than are malaria, cholera, or AIDS. When one browses through the news and considers the plight of whole populations of the unwanted, marginalized, and homeless, one may be forgiven if he abandons hope for the future of humanity.

Fortunately, in this bleak landscape of universal despair, there are a few beacons of hope—beautiful hope—pointing to a different destiny: a future of truth, justice, and peace. Among the leaders of this countercurrent stand Tim King and the staff and associates of Salem-News.com. A few are named in the video: Bonnie King, Ken O’Keefe, Gilad Atzmon, Eileen Fleming, David Evans, Joe Garcia, Anna O’Leary, Jo McColl, Marivel Guzman, and the martyred Vittorio Arrigoni. Fortunately, there are many many more who have joined the movement.

Beautiful Hope is an apt tribute to these men and women, the knights-errant of TJP in the 21st century. Listen and be inspired.

A King with a dream not for one race it seems—

For all humanity, whenever they are in need;

A universal plan to serve people, that’s all;

United as one, together we stand tall !

Don’t care what they say; we don’t care anymore!

When you need support, you’ll find us parked by the door;

Armed for defense for those quick-on-the-draws.

The call is too important! Ready to die for the cause!

Imagine a world living free without wars;

The saints here shine and the words, they roar:

The righteous shall prosper and the peace signs soar!

A better world is what they’re all hoping for!

_________________________________________________________

A beautiful hope for a beautiful world!

We’re gonna make it happen, yeah! We’re gonna make it work…

I’m no one’s fool; I’m no pawn on the board;

I’m a free man, baby, with my king’s crown on!

_________________________________________________________

The king’s vision here makes the soul wanna scream;

To serve the world as one! That’s a hell of a dream!

No indoctrination, no names on the wall;

Just a party of people doing God’s work is all.

Doing what’s right we can never go wrong;

From my heart, my friend, I write you this song.

If we stand united, God will never let us fall;

With you I share the dream; let them all hear the call!

Imagine a world living free without wars;

The saints here shine and the words, they roar:

The righteous shall prosper and the peace signs soar!

A better world is what they’re all hoping for!

A beautiful hope for a beautiful world!

We’re gonna make it happen, yeah! We’re gonna make it work…

I’m no one’s fool; I’m no pawn on the board;

I’m a free man, baby, with my king’s crown on!

The song above is reminiscent of the anti-war songs of the 1960-70s. The message remains the same; everyone suffers especially children and the impoverished. Powerful images, great song! I have shared this with my friends and I encourage everyone to do the same. Let's make this video go global!

Those who beat their weapons into plowshares end up plowing for those who didn't.

Tim King: Not always, sometimes they leave the gun turrets in place.
