Winter Rod & Speed Show This Weekend in Albany

It happens at the Linn County Expo Center near the Airport in Albany, Saturday January 31st from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Ever go to a hot rod show? If the answer is yes, then I don't need to explain how awesome it is to see a whole bunch of cool cars gathered for a single event.

The best thing about this weekend's show in Albany is that it is held indoors, so rain or shine it is guaranteed to be a fantastic event.

The vehicles lined up for the show include muscle cars, street rods and trucks, custom motorcycles and race cars.

There will also be a model car contest and auctions and raffles.

It happens at the Linn County Expo Center near the Airport in Albany, Saturday January 31st from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Mike Adams of Adams Rib Restaurant in Salem says it is going to be extremely fun, and he pointed out that many of the enthusiasts are really excited because the show can't be impacted by weather.

He says he'll have his latest custom car at the show; it's an awesome VW Bug that he has spent several months restoring and customizing.

It's a great example of one of the many types of cars at the show this weekend.

The custom car and hot rodders don't like to take their pride and joy out in inclement weather, and the indoor event will allow the brightwork to shine.
