(EUGENE, Ore. ) - Senior center Hroniss Grasu and two young tight ends were the latest Ducks named to preseason awards watch lists, as announced Tuesday.

Grasu was previously announced in May as a member of the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, which again released its list of preseason nominees Tuesday. Grasu was a finalist last season for the award, which goes to the nation’s best center.

A two-time all-Pac-12 selection, Grasu is on the Rimington Trophy’s preseason watch list for the third time. He played in the middle of an offensive line that helped Oregon lead the Pac-12 in rushing, scoring and total offense in 2013.

Also Tuesday, junior Pharaoh Brown and sophomore Johnny Mundt were named to the preseason watch list for the John Mackey Award, which is presented to the nation’s top tight end. Part-time starters for the Ducks last season, Mundt caught 16 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns, and Brown caught 10 balls for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Sophomore Evan Baylis also is expected to be in the mix for the Ducks at tight end when preseason camp opens Aug. 4. He caught four passes for 71 yards in 2013, and was Oregon's starter for the Alamo Bowl.
