(JERUSALEM / SALEM) - There are a handful of people in this world who go the extra mile for humanity. They aren't swayed by arguments about how people who work for peace are somehow doing it for the fanfare. In reality there is very little.

Dr. Frank Romano, Author of 'Storm Over Morocco' is a tireless soul who has had one of the most amazing lives I have ever heard of. He was held by radical Islamic jihadists after visiting Casablanca, while searching for the unifying truth of religion and life.

He eventually found a path to freedom, and came away not as a damaged person from his experience, but as an inspired peace seeker, greatly advanced in his understanding of what Islam is, and is not.

Today he leads Interfaith Freedom Marches four times a year in the West Bank and other contested areas in the Occupied lands and Israel.

In the march that was held Saturday, Frank was arrested by the Palestinian Authority. He knew going in that the recent violence and death experienced by other peace activists aboard the Mavi Marmara in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla would complicate the march, but then there is generally some type of negative world event casting a shadow over every Interfaith events he holds; he says it is nothing new.

What sets this author/attorney/tenured professor/activist moving in real time, is his desire to unite people without adding to the already divisive atmosphere.

Dr. Romano said, "The people in the Holy Land, Muslims, Jews and Christians alike, are enshrouded by deep suffering, terrible restrictions on freedoms, limitation of circulation, restricted access, unfair confiscation of land, etc. Whenever that happens in the World, we all suffer because I truly believe, my friends, we are all connected.'

He believes Israeli citizens are held hostage by the same rules that are used to immobilize the Palestinian people.

"When they are free (of suffering, etc.), only then can we be free!" As so many others believe, Frank says it’s time we all do something about it, in an effective, non-violent way.

"Let this march be a precursor to freedom through love and understanding by bringing all people together, as brothers and sisters and as children of the creator, showing the world that all people want peace in Israel and Palestine."

This man is dilusional. He thinks that since Koran shares the same values as the Hebrew and Christian bible, we should all get along? Newsflash Dr. Romano: MOHAMMAD COPIED FROM THE JEWISH BIBLE, not just from the texts, but also the laws of ritual slaughter, a day of rest, circumcision, praying multiple times per day. Nothing original came from Islam, excepting that it was permissible to marry a child, massacre and subjugate non-Moslems and treat women lower than a donkey. Islam is not a religion. It is a totaritarian political cult. They will murder you one day, just as they did the men you mentioned in your book.

Editor: Oh sorry did we step on your toes?  I'm sorry SILLY GOYAM we are.  Frank is a thousand times the human being you will ever be.  The only real point you make is that there are incredible similarities.   Yes, the Jews chose to start charging interest on non-Jews and that is one defining factor.  Muslims are the nicest people I have ever known as a religious group.  They will go out of their way for you and they will risk their lives for liberty.  You on the other hand, ARE the devil.  I don't mean your faith, I mean YOU.
