(STAYTON, Ore. ) - The Regis High School board of directors has announced the hiring of a new school principal Scott Coulter, who will begin part-time in July; full-time by August 11.

Prior to this position, Coulter worked at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho as the Assistant Principal and Activities Director.

As a candidate for this administrative position, Coulter brought a special advantage to the table: he worked at Regis from 1978 to 1982 as a mathematics teacher and coach. Coulter coached football, basketball and baseball during some or all of those years.
