Casualties of Israeli attacks in Gaza

(SALEM / GAZA CITY) - Attacks in Gaza are taking their toll on people who live in this enclosed open air prison that has been cut off from the world for years by Israeli military, politics, ocean fishing restrictions and separation walls, replete with guard towers and sometimes trigger happy soldiers.

Israel appears to be striking targets from high above with American supplied jet fighters. As shown below in a series of recently published articles by the Hamas Website, Al Qassam Brigades, the details and images are shocking and brutal.

It struck me as particularly offensive, that The BBC actually published an article claiming the most incredible, Israel-pleasing propaganda we have heard in some time. The broadcaster claimed that the baby girl died in a "botched" rocket attack.

The BBC wants us to now believe that the rockets are being fired by babies? I have to wonder how much Israel pays BBC to carry such preposterous claims. That kind of lip service can't come too cheap.

Waed Society Condemns the Assault on Prisoners in Eishel Israeli Prison

(Al Qassam website -Agencies) - Waed Society for Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees condemned the raid on section 11 in Eishel military prison and the assault on dozens of Palestinian prisoners, as they were severely beaten after refusing to be searched "naked".

Waed said that the prisons' administration summoned other armed forces to suppress the prisoners and confrontations launched between the prisoners and the Nahshon forces that are well known of their black history and criminal acts against prisoners.

These forces isolated three prisoners; Mu'ath Bilal, Islam Jarar and Marwan al-Mutaseb, confiscated the electrical devices from the prison including the fans that are mostly needed due to the high temperature in these days. They completely closed section 11 and prevented prisoners from using the bathrooms or go to the prisons' clinic.

Waed warned from the continuous attacks that aim to kill or assassinate the Palestinian prisoners and humiliate them in prisons.

The association also called on the world and human rights institutions to hold responsibility and immediately intervene to save the lives of prisoners and stop the Israeli brutal practices.

Maybe Israel is paying Maan as well from Maan in English Witnesses said she was killed when militants launched a rocket close by. Is Isreal paying teh un as well? The UN's OCHA-OPT's weekly Protection of Civilians report notes what really happened: Armed factions also intensified the firing of projectiles, including Grad rockets, at southern Israel...Some of the projectiles dropped short of the Gaza/Israeli border or exploded prematurely, killing a five-year old Palestinian child, and injuring a total of 15 Palestinians.
