Israel Assassinates PRC Secretary General & Three Others

(GAZA Al Qassam website) - Israeli occupation forces (IOF) conducted on Friday, 9/3, an airstrike on the Gaza city led to the assassination of the PRC secretary-general Zuhair Qaisi and Mahmoud Hanani, a Nablus native freed from Israeli custody four years earlier.

A third Palestinian sustained serious wounds in the strike, medics said.

Al Qassam correspondent reported that the two martyrs were killed by Israeli drones that were hovering over the Tel al-Islam area western the Gaza city.

Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan condemned the attack, announcing that it is "our people's right to defend themselves." He called on Egypt to stop Israeli aggression.

A statement from the the An-Nasser Salah Ad-Din Brigades, the PRC's armed wing, promised a "seismic response" to the assassination.

"The enemy by targeting Abu Ibrahim has opened the doors to hell and the continuous revenge for all our martyrs and the response will be by the size of this heinous crime."

Zuhair Qaisi is the third PRC leader to be killed since its establishment 12 years ago.

Israeli air force waged another airstrike on the Gaza Strip led to the killing of two more Palestinians, bringing Friday's toll death to four people, medics said.

Obeid al-Ghirbali and Muhammad Harara were named as those killed, medical spokesman Adham Abu Salmiyeh said.

Both men were members of the Al-Quds Brigade, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad. Their bodies were taken to Dar al-Shifa hospital.

Hamas' foreign ministry called on the international community to intervene to stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, a statement said.
