Clackamas County SWAT Team Responds to Barricaded Wanted Man in Estacada

Mr. Stavenjord is believed to have left the area by an unknown means and the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has no reason to believe he is an immediate threat to area citizens.

(ESTACADA, OR) - On March 19 at 1:30 pm, Clackamas deputies responded to an address on SE Tumala Mountain Rd. in rural Clackamas County, in an attempt to arrest 41-year old Brandon Stavenjord who was wanted on a felony parole warrant.

When deputies arrived, they believed he was inside the residence, refusing to come out. Based on Mr. Stavenjord's past criminal history and access to weapons, the Clackamas County SWAT Team was called to the scene.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's SWAT Team did a thorough search of the residence and area only to find Mr. Stavenjord had escaped before the SWAT team's arrival.

Mr. Stavenjord is believed to have left the area by an unknown means and the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has no reason to believe he is an immediate threat to area citizens.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office would like residents in the area to know the scene is contained and they are not in any immediate danger.

The investigation is still ongoing and the Sheriff's office will provide more updates later.
