Prabhakaran's son: killed after surrender

The death of Prabhakaran's son provoked the Tamil Nadu students demonstration into the streets. At one point nearly a million students were on the road. Similarly, however crude and suppressed human conscience is, it is bound to respond in one form or the other.

The way Isaipriya died has shocked and rock the Tamil in the world. Many proclaim only animals can do such a thing; even animals have occasionally shown love and compassion to fellow animals, In this case the milk of human kindness has virtually dried up and these Sinhalese soldiers behave like brutes.

Even Douglas can respond like this is the marvel of the year.

As Channel 4 ‘s video clip of Tamil female journalist been captured alive rocked the Tamil world , even the Tamil minister of Srilankan ruling Rajapaksa regime has raised his voice for independent investigation on the murder of Isaipriya despite she was working his rival LTTE rebels.

Douglas Devanada further said that the Channel 4 video has sparked huge distress in Tamil community around the world and he reinstated that he has already called for independent investigation into not only the Isaipriya’s murder but also the accused crimes during last days of war.

“When world leaders are coming Srilanka to participate in Commonwealth summit CHOGM, the video release by Channel 4 has shocked not only Tamils but also the world leaders ” Minister Douglas said. The video has destroyed the trust Tamils had on military and it has angered everyone who got some humanity in them (like him).

Douglas has written a letter to Rajapaksa urging him to bring those behind the murder in front of justice which is the only way win trust from Tamils , he stated,

Minister Douglas Devananda , the leader of Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) , is been a para-military group working for Srilankan Sinhala rulers and Rajapaksa regime keep him in the minister post to portray to world that there are Tamils in his ministry. EPDP is a break away group from major EPRLF , a rebel group who began its armed campaign for freedom of Tamil homeland. Later as rival Tamil Tiger rebels banned all other groups , EPDP became a para military of Srilankan forces. EPDP is accused of killings of Tamil Journalists including Nimalarajan in the past.

Even Chithambaram, who was supporting the war against the Tigers in 2009 to consolidate his position in the Sonia government, has this to say with an eye on 2014 Indian General Elections. Was his conscience sleeping all this while?
