Law Enforcement for Youth

(Salem, Oregon) - Law Enforcement for Youth is gearing up for the 2010 Shop with a Cop. Our Shop with a Cop program provides an opportunity for local youth in need to partner with a law enforcement officer to shop together for a holiday gift. This event is a great opportunity for youth to develop a positive relationship with the law enforcement community. Many of the participants may also be recieving their only holiday present.

Over the years heart warming children have sought gifts such as a boy who selected a doll for his sister who was home sick and could not come, a child who just wanted a nice shirt and shoes for church, several who have sought car seats and bike helmets to be safe and even basic needs like warm clothing.
