Oregon State Fraternity Member Arrested in Shooting IncidentSalem-News.comInvestigation of this case is continuing and the findings are being reviewed by the Benton County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
(CORVALLIS) - Corvallis police, along with Oregon State Police, and Benton County Sheriff Deputies served a search warrant at 331 NW 26th Street, the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity house in Corvallis. The search warrant allowed officers to seize evidence connected to the shooting of Dennis Sanderson in the alley east of the fraternity, which occurred on October 14th. During the subsequent search, officers seized a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting. Corvallis police detectives have conducted several interviews with Alpha Gamma Rho members since the shooting occurred. Following additional interviews, police arrested 19-year-old Joshua Grimes who lived at the fraternity. Grimes was taken into custody without incident, and is lodged at the Benton County Correctional Facility. Throughout the investigation, the leadership of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, the OSU Interfraternity Council, and representatives of Oregon State University have cooperated and assisted in the investigation.
