What Have We Allowed Our Government To Do?

Isn’t it time we get involved and take control of our own government?

(JAMESTOWN, RI) - The government spies on everything we do including phone calls, emails, social networks, cell phones, and internet.

Has illegally listened in on 70 million French phone calls.

Has illegally read the e-mails of the President of Mexico.

Has illegally intercepted the communications of the Brazilian President.

Kills and murders innocent people in faraway countries with drones which Amnesty International and others have called war crimes.’

We have a liar as Director of National Intelligence. James Clapper was asked by Congress if the agency was collecting mass data on US citizens and lied by answering “No”, and is not in jail. Would you be?

We have a liar as the Director of the NSA, Keith Alexander, who told Congress, surveillance uncovered 54 serious plots, only to find out it was not 54 but 1. He admitted to lying to Congress but is not in jail. Would you be?

We have a president who claims the right to kill anyone, including US citizens at random, and has done so 3 times.

The White House maintains a secret “kill list”. We are not told who is on the “kill List”, how many are on it, or how you get on the list, because it is all a secret.

We have secret laws, secret courts, and secret judges.

We have a law that requires, no matter what, that there must be at least 34,000 immigrants being held in jails to enrich the owners of private prisons.

We use “drones” to kill people in Pakistan, despite being opposed by 75% of the people in Pakistan.

We attacked Iraq without any legitimate reason, and a policy of sanctions and war resulted in over one million Iraqi lives lost.

The US government helped both warring sides in the brutal Iraq- Iran war to insure more death.

We helped Saddam Hussein locate Iranian troops so he could “gas” them, knowing full well his intention to “gas” when we gave him the Iranians location.

We sold Saddam Hussein the materials he needed to make the “gas”

We bombed Libya claiming we were helping, but caused today’s anarchy, civil war, and a failed state.

We brought absolute anarchy, daily mass deaths, and murder to Iraq, so that it too is a failed state on the verge of all out civil war.

We wanted desperately to bomb Syria, but only the Russians, along with a massive public outcry against doing so, prevented the U.S. government from wreaking more havoc.

We wish to bomb Iran, despite the fact there is not the slightest bit of evidence to suggest they have done anything wrong.

We have a Congress that is trying to undermine the peace talks now going on between Iran and the world.

We supported a military coup in Egypt that overthrew the person democratically elected, while preaching the spread of “democracy”.

We supported a military coup in Honduras that overthrew the democratically elected leader, while preaching the spread of “democracy”.

We support Saudi Arabia, one of the most brutal and undemocratic countries in the world, where women are not allowed to drive, and where free speech and dissent are brutally crushed, with military weapons.

We support a dictatorship in Yemen while preaching the spread of “democracy”.

Isn’t it time we get involved and take control of our own government?

our leaders were elected with only the best interests of the citizens, not by subterfuge and trickery thru the electronic media and don't forget it. Not on their watch!! and how about those cheeseburger outlets? That's what really counts. Control is the new player and if you don't like the game then leave the arena!! And don't forget those cheeseburgers!! A bird x-tended on my hand is more than two hiding inside the bush. Print this if you are a patriot!!

"When we are made aware of evil in this world and we choose to look the other way, we become an accomplice to that evil..plain and simple. And choosing not to choose is still making a choice. By our actions, by our choices we will be judged." My Stepdad, Richard Ensign
