Man Sought for Sexual Assault

A vehicle associated with the suspect is a light blue Honda, possibly an Accord.

(JEFFERSON OR) - Marion County Sheriff's Detectives are searching for a man involved in a home invasion and sexual assault that took place on Elm Street in Jefferson on Friday afternoon.

The adult female victim told deputies that a man knocked on her door at about 2:30pm, asking for directions. The man suddenly forced his way into the house and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5'-11" with a medium build, dark colored hair that is short, but longer in the back. He appeared unshaven to the victim.

The man had a tattoo on the inside of his left wrist described as looking like HHH or III. He had another tattoo of a devil's head on his right bicep. At the time of the assault he was wearing very dirty clothing, including a black jacket, a white 'T' shirt with holes in it, and a black baseball type hat. The suspect also smoked.
