(BELLINGHAM, Wash.) - Western Washington's Ira Graham had 33 points, including a three-pointer with 1:02 left that erased a one-point Western Oregon lead as the host Vikings topped the Wolves, 84-80.
With the win, WWU improved to 9-4 on the season and to 2-2 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Western Oregon dropped its fourth straight game to fall to 7-6 overall and to 0-4 in the GNAC.

(LACEY, Wash.) - Saint Martin's went on a 16-0 run to start the second half, breaking up a close game on their way to a 82-63 women's basketball win over Western Oregon at the SMU Pavillion on Saturday night.
Sade Smith led the host Saints with 19 points as Saint Martin's improved to 9-3 overall and to 2-1 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. Western Oregon fell to 4-8 on the year and to 0-3 in conference play.

Razavi finished with 14 points, all of which were obtained in the second half (PORTLAND, Ore.) - After seeing Concordia lose a double-digit lead once already in the second period, Maryam Razavi and Joyce Oniah powered the Cavs with a late charge for a 73-62 win over Cascade College on Saturday.
With the result, Concordia jumped to a 10-8 overall record and 6-2 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Cascade dropped to 10-8 and 3-5 in the CCC. In the first half, a pair of Oniah free throws pushed the Cavs to a 26-11 lead with eight minutes remaining before settling for a 10-point lead heading into the locker room.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - For the fourth straight Northwest Conference game, the George Fox University Bruins saw a sizeable second-half lead slip away as the Linfield College Wildcats battled back from nine points down with 13 minutes to play and pulled out a 68-65 win in a men’s basketball game between the Yamhill County rivals Saturday night here at Ted Wilson Gym.
Linfield rookie center K.C. Wiser hit a jumper and a three-point basket for a quick 5-0 lead to start the game, but the Bruins answered with a 12-1 run to go up 12-6 with 12:45 left in the half.

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Katy Campbell scored a career-high 26 points, 16 in the second half, as the 18th-ranked George Fox University Bruins pulled away from Linfield College for their seventh straight win, a 56-47 decision over the scrappy Wildcats, in a Northwest Conference women’s basketball game Saturday evening here at Ted Wilson Gym.
The first half was closely contested with six ties, five lead changes, and neither team holding more than a four-point lead through the first 14 minutes.

Schmidtbauer wins two events for second day in a row. (FOREST GROVE, Ore.) - The Willamette University women's swimming team won eight events, including both relays, as the Bearcats downed Pacific University, 116-60, in a Northwest Conference meet on Saturday, January 12th at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center. In the men's competition, Pacific edged the Bearcats, 82-74.
Willamette's women picked up their first win of the season to improve to 1-4 overall. The Willamette men dropped to 0-5 on the season.

Salem-News.com Sports (January 12, 2008 19:41)OSU Women’s Basketball Falls To No. 9 California Salem-New.sdoj-The Beavers kept California cold on the outside, limiting the Golden Bears to just one three-pointer made in seven attempts, (BERKELEY, Calif.) - Mercedes Fox-Griffin scored 10 points to go with five rebounds and five assists and Talisa Rhea scored 16 points but it wasn’t enough as No. 9 California came away with a 61-45 victory over the Oregon State women’s basketball team Saturday afternoon at Haas Pavilion.
Rhea led the Beavers (8-8, 1-4 Pac-10) with four three-pointers, connecting on two in each half. Overall, Rhea was 6-of-11 from the floor. Fox-Griffin, meanwhile, connected on three baskets from the field and knocked down four of her five shots from the free-throw line.

(NEWBERG, Ore.) - NCAA Division III national javelin champion Joel Krebs of George Fox University has been named one of the finalists for the 2007 Ad Rutschman Small College Men’s Athlete of the Year Award which will be announced at the 2007 Oregon Sports Awards show on Sunday, January 27th.
Krebs became the second Bruin in the last four seasons to win the NCAA Division III national championship in the javelin when he captured the 2007 title on May 26th in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

(LA GRANDE, Ore.) - With the Eastern Oregon Men's Basketball team struggling to even play with a red hot Evergreen State team the Mounties all-time leading scorer showed everyone how he got that title in a 94-93 shootout victory over the Geoducks.
Carollo played 38 minutes and pored in 43 points. The senior from Hermiston went 16-27 from the field, 3-7 from 3 and 8-12 from the free throw line. He also managed to haul in 10 rebounds on the night.
