Two Arrested Following Stabbing of Three People Near Tillamook

It happened at Alderbrook Golf Course Restaurant & Bar.
(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Tillamook County Major Crime Team detectives arrested two suspects related to a Saturday night disturbance at the Alderbrook Golf Course Restaurant and Bar north of Tillamook that resulted in the stabbing of 3 adults.
The victims received non-life threatening wounds and are being treated at hospitals in Tillamook and Portland. Their names are withheld at this time and may be released Monday after additional follow-up investigation and interviews.

Reward Offered to Solve Illegal Kill and Waste of Elk in Tillamook County

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect(s) responsible for the illegal killing of three elk, and the waste of two of them, in the Trask Unit near Tillamook.
A reward of up to $1000 is being offered by the Oregon Hunter's Association for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Coast Guard Assists Tillamook County Officials Locate Missing Mushroom Picker

The crew passed on the location of the man to the Tillamook County Sherriff’s Department who directed a ground party to the site where they positively identified and recovered Smith
(SEATTLE, Washington) -
The Coast Guard assisted the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Department in locating a missing 73-year-old man near Nehalem, Oregon, Sunday.
Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Oregon, received a report that Lawrence Smith was missing at approximately 4 p.m., and launched an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew at 4:07 p.m. to conduct a search in the vicinity of Nehalem.

Oregon Air National Guard to Take Part in Veterans Day Flyovers Around the State

(SALEM, Oregon) -
The Oregon Air National Guard will conduct Veterans Day flyovers for various ceremonies at locations throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
F-15 Eagle fighter jets from the 142nd Fighter Wing in Portland and the 173rd Fighter Wing at Kingsley Field are scheduled to conduct flyovers at the following locations and approximate times:
All passes will be approximately 1,000 feet above ground level and 350 knots airspeed. Flights could be cancelled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.

Death Investigation in Tillamook

The 47-year old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name will be released Tuesday morning.
(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers, with the assistance of the Tillamook County Medical Examiner, will be continuing an investigation following the death of man found slumped in the driver's seat of his work vehicle at the entrance to the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
There is no indication of foul play.

Eight Injured in Tillamook Tour Bus Fire - PHOTOS

Police say the fire appears to be accidental.
(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Police say eight people were transported to hospitals in Tillamook and Portland for injuries sustained in a Sunday afternoon fire on a Raz Transportation tour bus on Highway 101 north of Tillamook.
Police say a 71-year old female from Wisconsin was taken by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland for burn and smoke inhalation injuries.

Crash Seriously Injures Forest Grove Motorcyclist

OSP troopers from the Tillamook work site are continuing the investigation.
(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Police say a Forest Grove man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle on Highway 6 about 22 miles east of Tillamook.
Oregon State Police say 61-year old Daniel Everett Shaw of Forest Grove, lost control negotiating a left curve, slid into an embankment and was thrown off the motorcycle into a ten foot ditch.

Death Investigation: Body Located at Base of Cape Lookout

Once the body has been positively identified, investigators will work with out-of-state authorities to help notify next of kin.
(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) -
Oregon State Police, with the assistance of Tillamook County Medical Examiner and Tillamook County Sheriff's Office, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a deceased male on a rocky section of beach near the base of a cliff in Cape Lookout State Park.
There is no indication that the death is the result of a crime and positive identification is pending according to OSP Sergeant Todd Hoodenpyl.
