Health Advisory Issued for Devils Lake on Oregon CoastSalem-News.com Staff
Swallowing or inhaling water, as well as skin contact with water, should be avoided. Drinking water directly from Devils Lake is especially dangerous.
(LINCOLN CITY, Ore. ) -
A health advisory was issued Friday due to high levels of blue-green algae and toxins in Devils Lake, located just south of Lincoln City in Lincoln County.

Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 20 near Burnt Woods in Lincoln CountySalem-News.com
OSP troopers from the Newport Area Command office are continuing the investigation.
Oregon State Police (OSP), with the assistance of the Lincoln County Crash Team, is continuing the investigation into Friday evening's two vehicle fatal traffic crash that occurred on Highway 20 at the entrance to Ellmaker State Park near Burnt Woods.

Oregon State Police Identification Services Section was able to positively identify the body discovered Wednesday morning on the ocean shore of Salishan Spit south of Lincoln City as 58-year-old Raymond Patrick Mullen, from Silverton.
