A new article in US News & World Report explores the Oregon Gubernatorial race and Dwight Holton's hardline position over medical marijuana.
Mr. Holton has stated that he supports the state's voter-endorsed program, but I think that might be a wee stretch of the truth from Dwight.

This weekend, Portland experienced solidarity from multiple cannabis legalization groups as hundreds assembled from across the region to have their voices heard in the 13th Annual Global Cannabis March through the streets of downtown.
Complete with a police escort, marchers began and ended in Portland's living room, Pioneer Courthouse Square.

This, in spite of the fact that it has been known as a highly safe, highly effective medicine for about four thousand years- and there are currently some 55,000 medical patients in Oregon.
For years, all of us advocates have been asking whoever we could ask for some sort of legislation which would take marijuana out of the grasp of the Mexican marijuana cartels.
