(MOLALLA, Ore.) - As a physician/pharmacologist I retain a great interest in what is going on in the pharmaceutical industry. I search the Internet to see what drugs are used the most. The listings are quite variable depending on who does them. It is often surprising to see the differences.

One list of 50 shows four for pain with, Hydrocodone being number one, and 10 for anxiety/depression, with Alprozolam being number one. The rest are mostly for cholesterol and hypertension.

Most have found they can fake it up to a point then all the mushy bricks fall on their heads. Almost none of the heavily advertised drugs really work but big Pharma heavily lauds them anyway. Making lots of money is their business not necessarily helping the sick.
