Update on Mall Shooting from Clackamas County Sheriff`s Office

The mall will remain closed this evening.
(CLACKAMAS, OR) -
As of 5:30 p.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is able to confirm that the suspect in the active shooter incident at Clackamas Town Center is deceased.
At this point in the investigation, it appears that the suspect acted alone inside the mall.

The Oregonian reports that two people are dead, several are hurt, and that the shooter used an AR-15 rifle; the civilian version of the military M-16.

A shooter has opened fire inside the Clackamas Town Center in Oregon.
TV station KATU writes that dozens of shots were fired in the food court at Clackamas Town Center this afternoon, according to witness statements.

A man was shot in the foot and transported to Salem Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A Salem Police officer setting out to shoot a pit bull ended up shooting a man who apparently tried to place himself between the gun and the dog.
A Salem Police officer was firing at the pit bull, a spokesman says, when 38-year old Steven Deleon jumped in, apparently trying to intervene in the situation.

Suspect in deadly Azana Spa shooting reportedly still at large
(BROOKFIELD, WI) -
Police in Brookfield, Wisconsin say at least three people are dead after a man opened fire at a spa around 11 a.m. Four people were were injured.
It happened at an upper-scale shopping mall in Brookfield which is located west of Milwaukee.

A man was shot in a Woodburn, Oregon front yard on the afternoon of 18 September, police say it was not self-inflicted.
"We Don't know much at this time" says Cpl Shawn Hershberger of Woodburn Police. It Happened around 4:30 pm in a front yard located at Hardcastle Av and Gatch St in Woodburn OR. "The Marion County H.A.R.T. team is assisting in the investigation" says Heshberger.
