Fires Could be Among Southern California`s Worst (VIDEO)

Fires are burning throughout a large part of the state.

(LOS ANGELES, CALIF.) - Recent wildfire in Southern California Fire activity significantly increased in southern California over the weekend. Strong Santa Ana winds are challenging firefighters as they battle 11 large fires. So far more than 90,000 acres have already burned. Evacuations are in effect for several communities throughout southern California.

Weather experts say the Santa Ana winds are expected through Tuesday, then should diminished by Wednesday. By the end of the week, Southern California should have favorable weather conditions, with higher relative humidity and cooler temperatures.

Bhutto Blames Blast on Islamic Terrorists (VIDEO)

More than 100 were killed in bomb blasts targeting the convoy of Benazir Bhutto the former prime minister of Pakistan.

(KARACHI, Pakistan) - A soldier from Afghanistan's Army stares across the river border into Pakistan.  His combat base, Firebase California, sees regular attacks from Taliban forces in Pakistan. The one ingredient that many people believe could bring an end to growing violence in the Middle East is the Prime Minister, a woman named Benazir Bhutto. She has been living in exile for the last eight years as the country has operated under the military dictatorship of Pervez Musharraf.

Her triumphant return to Pakistan, and to power, was marred by a pair of bombs that blew up near her convoy in Karachi last night. The prime minister was not hurt.

Coulter discussed her visits to "mega churches" where she is invited to speak regularly. Coulter further explained that Christians have a "fast track" to God.

One man wants to know what a person has to go through in order to become a medical marijuana "caregiver." Leveque says a person can be a caregiver under Oregon State Law if a patient lists them that way. Every patient is entitled to a caregiver, and the person can then transport marijuana legally and grow it on behalf of the patient.

Coast Guard Saves Vessel With Broken Steering (VIDEO)

Weather conditions on scene included 30-35 knot winds and 11-foot seas.

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - Coast Guard helicopter The Coast Guard assisted a disabled, 47-foot sailing vessel 100 miles west of the Central Oregon Coast over the weekend. The master of the sailing vessel Reverie contacted the Coast Guard via VHF radio just after 4:00 AM Sunday to report he had lost steering, officials say.

An HH-60 helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Oregon, was launched along with a C-130 plane from Air Station Sacramento, California, to provide communications support and to track the vessel using its Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon.

He's been spouting right wing politics for years, ever since facing the loss of his daughter over drug use decades ago. But Nugent may have seriously crossed the line during a performance in Oroville, California, when he waved a rifle around and made threatening statements toward Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Blackwater contractor at work in Iraq A Congressional Committee is investigating the private military contractor Blackwater USA today and its affiliated companies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Blackwater's contract to provide protective services to the State Department says they can only fire their weapons in defense. Incident reports compiled by Blackwater reveal that Blackwater has been involved in at least 195 "escalation of force" incidents in Iraq since 2005 that involved the firing of shots by Blackwater forces. This is an average of 1.4 shooting incidents per week.

In this video clip with NBC's Brian Williams, Ahmadinejad makes the point more than once, "Why did the Palestinian people have to pay for what happened during the Holocaust?"

The man is offensive without any doubt, and while he does not deny the existence of the Holocaust directly in this interview, he constantly uses the word "if" to describe the historic event.
