Rescuers Preparing Herding Operation for Wayward Whales (VIDEO)

The whales, still lost up the Sacramento River channel 70 miles from the ocean, could be heading back to sea.

(WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. ) - wayward whales photo Training exercises will begin on Monday in preparation for herding two wayward humpback whales, Delta and Dawn, to the San Francisco Bay.

Attempts to coax the female whale and her calf using whale sounds will not resume Monday as previously planned, officials announced. They believe the whales may have turned inland from the ocean during their annual migration north.

Michigan Cop Busted in Marijuana Brownie Overdose Call to 911 Avoids Charges (AUDIO/VIDEO)

On another occasion, his wife allegedly stole cocaine from his police cruiser and went on a reported three-week coke binge.

(DEARBORN, Mich.) - Brownies and a marijuana sign A 28-year old Dearborn, Michigan police officer named Edward Sanchez, called 911 and said he and his wife were "dying from a marijuana brownie overdose."

It turns out the weed was confiscated from criminal suspects, then stolen from his police vehicle, and that is when this sadly comical story just starts to get traction.
