Hillsboro Police Arrest Man for Mistreatment

(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Salem-News.com Yesterday at 7:45 PM, Hillsboro police responded to a report of an 11 year old boy discovered standing near Baseline Rd and Brookwood Rd in his underwear. He was wet and cold and was discovered by a woman passerby who offered assistance and called police.

Portland Officer-Involved Shooting Update

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting Investigation Portland Police are continuing their investigation into last night's officer-involved shooting involving an armed, barricaded man, who was shooting at police. After the fire was brought under control, police found the subject deceased. Since notification of family is complete, the Bureau can release the identitiy of the man; he is 46-year-old Craig Boehler.

Fire investigators are still trying to determine if the house is structurely safe for police and fire personnel to enter. There is still much of the investigation to be done. The investigation is continuing.

Second OSP Patrol Car Struck in One Day While Trooper Investigating Traffic Crash - Interstate 84 Near Multnomah Falls

(SALEM, Oregon) - damaged osp car A driver was cited by Oregon State Police (OSP) Monday night after she drifted across the fog line and sideswiped an unoccupied OSP patrol car on Interstate 84 near Multnomah Falls. This was the second OSP patrol car to be struck that day while the trooper was outside of the patrol car investigating another collision during icy conditions.

Red Cross Volunteers Help 2 People in West Salem Affected by House Fire

(Salem, Oregon) - Red Cross Flag Volunteers with the American Red Cross responded to a house fire Monday evening, November 22nd, in the 1900 block of Crozer Street NW in Salem.

The fire was reported at approximately 5:30pm. All tenants were able to escape the fire and no injuries were reported.

Red Cross Volunteers Help 9 People in Stayton Affected by House Fire

(Stayton, Oregon) - Red Cross Volunteers with the American Red Cross responded to a house fire Monday evening, November 22nd, in the 18000 block of Old Mehama Road in Stayton.

The fire was reported at approximately 5:30pm. All tenants were able to escape the fire that destroyed the 2-story residence. One resident was treated and released for smoke inhalation.

Former OSP Trooper Facing Theft and Official Misconduct Charges in Umatilla County
