Stolen Vehicle Suspect Eludes Tigard Police Later Caught

(TIGARD, Ore.) - Chad Curtis Loynachan of Tigard At about 11:15 p.m. last night, a Tigard police officer observed a suspicious vehicle (a early 90's Ford Mustang 5.0) near the intersection of SW Pacific Highway and Walnut St. which was reported stolen.

The officer along with another Tigard Police officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the suspect refused to stop and sped off north on Pacific Hwy. The officers continued to follow the vehicle which snaked through multiple Tigard neighborhoods.

Two of Three Suspects Arrested in Oakridge Home Invasion Robbery Identified

(EUGENE, Ore.) - Left: David Bryan New Right: Byron Leroy Two of the three suspects sought following a reported home invasion robbery in Oakridge and subsequent attempt to elude in a vehicle and on foot are now lodged in the Lane County Jail and their names are being released.

All three were taken into custody by late Friday night near Vida and were being treated at an area hospital for various possible injuries. The third suspect's name is withheld until he has been released from the hospital and lodged at the Lane County Jail. The investigation is continuing.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza Ms. Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza , Chair of FDU-Inkingi was arrested and incarcerated in Kicukiro on October 14th 2010. Police had surrounded her home, keeping her from leaving or receiving visitors several days prior to the arrest.

“The police should grant Ingabire access to visitors and should respect her rights to due process,” urged Rona Peligal, Africa director at Human Rights Watch.

Four in McMinnville Arrested for Forcing Two Kids to Fight

The fight video was posted on Facebook

(McMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Michael Dale Chandler - Sara Michelle Nisenfeld Earlier this month McMinnville Officers received a call from an out-of- state complainant. The caller was concerned about a fight video posted on Facebook. The caller thought the incident had occurred in McMinnville.

The video showed two nine year old boys violently fighting while several adult voices encouraged them to continue attacking each other.

(WILSONVILLE, Ore.) - Author Pamela Aiden speaks at a reception in her honor at the Wilsonville Public Library. A public reception in honor of Pamela Aidan, a popular author of Jane Austen-style books, was given yesterday by the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation.

Emeritus Professor John Ehrstine who has taught a popular series of literature classes at the Wilsonville Public Library invited Ms Aidan to speak to his class. Ms. Aidan traveled to Wilsonville from her home in Idaho.
