(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Mother of boy who successfully uses medical marijuana for autism. As a physician/pharmacologist taking care of Medical Marijuana patients, I get totally surprised almost every day. The latest blockbuster was ABC News on Monday, Nov. 21, 2009 with a mother of a terrorizing autistic child whom ABC featured on their morning program.

This was about the first big-time TV report of successful treatment of Autism. It was very compelling information and should be a mind clearing event for thousands of parents of autistic, ADD/ADHD children.

First American CoreLogic Releases Q3 Negative Equity Data

The amount of equity for each property was determined by subtracting the property's estimated current value from the mortgage debt outstanding.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com First American CoreLogic, the first company to develop a national, state and city-level negative equity report, has released third quarter data that includes a proprietary model which factors in loan amortization and utilization rates for home equity lines of credit (HELOC), providing a more precise view of "underwater borrowers."

According to First American CoreLogic, nearly 10.7 million, or 23 percent, of all residential properties with mortgages were in negative equity as of September 2009.

Experts Debunk Claim That Tax Measures Would Cost Jobs

Tax Policy Center calls arguments "misleading" and "fatally flawed".

(SILVERTON, Ore.) - Oregon state capitol The central argument by opponents of Measures 66 and 67, that the measures will cause Oregon to lose jobs, is "without merit," according to experts at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center. They said the claim rests on "misleading analysis" and "fatally flawed assumptions."

The Washington, D.C.-based center picked apart the work of Oregon economists Randall Pozdena and William Conerly, who have argued that raising taxes on high-income Oregonians and corporations would cause the state to lose tens of thousands of jobs. Opponents of Measures 66 and 67 -- funded by banks, big corporations and rich individuals -- have added together the upper limits of Pozdena's and Conerly's estimates and trumpeted the total as the centerpiece of their campaign.

Oregon Crab Season Opens Next Month

Oregon's ocean crab season opens December First.

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - Dungeness crab The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife today announced that the commercial ocean Dungeness crab season will open at 12:01 a.m. December 1st, 2009.

Under Oregon Administrative Rules, the commercial pot presoak in Oregon waters will begin no sooner than 8:01 a.m. November 28th.

Amber Alert Issued for One-Month Old South Carolina Boy

(NORTH CHARLESTON, N.C.) - One-month old Angel Miguel Perez, missing child The State of South Carolina issued an Amber Alert Monday night, November 23rd, after a boy was abducted in North Charleston.

According to reports from police, the child's mother left the child in hoer car while she went into a post office to drop off mail. Upon her return the child was gone. A witness reported seeing a suspect getting into the suspect vehicle with the child in her arms.

Fugitive Josh Nicholas Captured in Yamhill County

After successfully eluding police, Nicholas was captured hours later at a residence in unincorporated Yamhill County.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - 2007 photo of 36-year old Josh Nicholas Officials say a fugitive out of Washington County, 36-year old Josh Nicholas, was captured tonight in rural Yamhill County by investigators who had been looking for him throughout the day.

Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says deputies and the US Marshals Oregon Fugitive Task Force tracked Josh Nicholas down, explaining that he is a felon wanted for parole violation warrants.

Woman Dies in Crash on Highway 38, West of Drain (PHOTOS)

Police say the car was eastbound when it drove off onto the right shoulder, traveling about 150 feet before partially striking a power pole and going into the water.

(DRAIN, Ore.) - Salem-News.com A crash resulted in the death of a Coos Bay woman, whose submerged car was located and recovered Monday from Elk Creek, along the south side of Highway 38, west of Drain.

Senior Trooper Kevin Bennett with Oregon State Police, says the fatal crash scene was reported today at 11:38 a.m. by an area resident tending livestock, who saw the upside down car in the creek.
