Gym Owner Arrested in Clackamas Sex Abuse Case

Real Fitness is on Jannsen Road in Clackamas, the proprietor and suspect in this case is 38-year old Bryce Darrel Jackson, who lives on SE Laurel in Milwaukie.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - 38-year old Bryce Jackson is charged with second-degree Sex Abuse Sheriff's deputies arrested a Milwaukie man on Sex Abuse charges Monday afternoon at his gym in Clackamas.

Det. Jim Strovink with the Clackamas Sheriff's Office, says it began when an 18-year-old female called her mother crying hysterically after allegedly being sexually assaulted in the gym by its operator, according to that afternoon.

Investigation of Possible Child Abduction Attempt Continues

The girl is described as being approximately 12 years old, 5 feet tall, thin, with light brown hair that hangs straight to her shoulder. She was seen wearing tan pants, a dark colored jacket and was carrying a pink backpack.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Girl with backpack We reported yesterday that Portland Police Officers responded to the area of 136th and Division around 3:45 p.m. on a report that a man in the area had possibly attempted to grab a child.

Detectives with Portland Police say they are continuing their investigation into athe incident reported yesterday, but they have determined that there are conflicting statements from witnesses at the scene, according to police.

Chinese Activist`s Family Gets US Asylum

It is reported that Guo has been constantly abused while serving his current sentence.

(HONK KONG RFA) - Guo Feixiong (R) during a gathering with Gao Zhisheng (L) in Beijing, Jan. 6, 2006. The wife and two children of a jailed Chinese rights lawyer have been granted political asylum in the United States, Radio Free Asia reports.

Zhang Qing, the wife of jailed Chinese rights lawyer Guo Feixiong, and their two children were notified of their status on Nov. 19, she told RFA's Mandarin service in her first interview since arriving in the United States in early April.

(OLYMPIA, Wash.) - Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park, Washington The Olympics, North Cascades and Oregon coast are being slammed this week by a classic example of a “pineapple express” storm– a narrow plume of warm, wet air drawn northward from the tropics. Rainfall in the Olympics, Willapa Hills, and North Cascades is expected to reach 5-10 inches.

“Olympic rivers will flood and there is a strong possibility of flood downstream of the N. Cascades (e.g., Nooksack).”

(SALEM, Ore.) - Two examples of  Willamette River Steelhead, the one on the left weighs 12+ pounds. Creekside Flyfishing will be hosting a winter steelhead seminar this Saturday, November 21st. The event will take place in Pringle Plaza at the Creekside Fly Shop, 350 Liberty St SE from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and admission is free.

The host is Rich Youngers, owner of Creekside Flyfishing and a long-time NW fishing guide. There will be many programs worth catching here.

Police Say Juveniles Sprayed Graffiti & Pointed Firearm at Resident

Police say the investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Handcuffs Salem Police say two juveniles were arrested after being caught in the act of doing graffiti at a Salem apartment complex, then pointing a firearm at the complainant as they fled the scene.

The incident began at about 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday when three juveniles were observed doing graffiti at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of 7th Place NE, according to Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada.
