Homeland Security Agencies Occupy Portland’s Terminal 6 for Operation

Multiple agencies participated in the Maritime Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) operation at Terminal 6 in Portland, Ore., Tuesday.
(PORTLAND, Ore.) -
Teams were deployed to Terminal 6 to verify Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) credentials and use certified explosives-detection canine teams from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
The successful interagency operation ensured the safety and security of passengers, facilities and vessels, and was the first VIPR operation involving a marine facility in the Portland metro area.

I have been reading Dr. Phil Leveques articles about PTSD and the miserable treatment of these guys by the VA. The same has happened to me in the mid-west.
I’m not going to state where I am for I am a current victim of VA’s questionable treatment and I fully agree with him. I wish we PTSD Vets could do something about it but it appears the drug companies and even the congress are complicit in our miserable care.

Police say a 'Breakfast Burrito' was a contributing factor in truck crash that halted traffic on Interstate 5 south of Wolf Creek Monday. Really.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
A reach for a ‘breakfast burrito' was blamed by a commercial truck driver as the reason for losing control on Interstate 5 south of Wolf Creek and overturning, spilling a load of joists across the freeway, police say.
The driver was reportedly reached down for a ‘breakfast burrito' when he drifted toward the center line, tried to correct his line of travel and lost control, causing the load to shift and the truck and trailer to overturn.

Cops in both Oregon and Washington know that they open the door to police impostors by using unmarked cars for traffic enforcement, and they don't care.

Sandra Cantu`s Body Discovered on California Farm

The local coroners office will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
(TRACY, Calif.) -
Police have discovered the remains of Sandra Cantu, the 8-year old girl missing since March 27th from Tracy, California. She was found dead inside a suitcase in a dairy-farm pond near her California home yesterday. At this time, police do not have a suspect.

The Interstate is closed in both directions between mileposts 258 and 256, and also at mile post 71.

Oregon State Police report that Interstate 5 northbound and southbound in Salem are blocked in both directions by a crash involving two commercial vehicles.
Oregon State Police are covering a second crash involving two commercial trucks in Grants Pass. This crash also has Interstate 5 northbound and southbound reported blocked in both directions near milepost 71.

Child Porn Traffickers Cited in Missing Child Search

In a precedent that could have a major impact nationwide, California police say they are looking at known child pornography traffickers in a missing child case.
(TRACY, Calif.) -
Police in Tracy, California, a city of 80,000 just east of San Francisco, are searching for an 8 year-old child, Sandra Cantu, who disappeared March 27th.
Now, according to the Tracy Press, investigators in the case say they are looking at 60 individuals in the Tracy area who have been identified trafficking in child pornography, along with 78 "registered" sex offenders.

Living in the besieged Gaza, a strip of land about 45 km long and 8 Km wide means that you are isolated from the outside world.
To allay that sense of isolation Gazans have resorted to the Internet, to be in touch with their loved ones from whom they have been separated for over two years due to the ongoing Israeli blockade and closure of the Rafah border crossing which is policed by Egypt.
