There appears to be a huge difference between the federal interpretation of truth, and the reality of what is taking place.

Former Homeland Security Undersecretary, DEA Administrator and Congressman, Asa Hutchinson, contacted Salem-News.com Tuesday with a complaint over a political perspective report that I wrote March 23rd 2009.
The report was highly critical of Hutchinson for lumping marijuana into a group with drugs like "cocaine" and "methamphetamine". The problem is that we aren't supposed to compare apples and oranges.

Our forces in Iraq are not out of the woods by any means, but the count has greatly traded places when it comes to the number of servicemen and women being killed in combat and in non-combat related incidents.

Preliminary Information Regarding Death Investigation at Welches-area Parking Lot

The victim is identifued as 44-year old John Eugene Jarrett Jr. of Beaverton.
(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) -
Oregon State Police and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the apparent accidental death of a food service delivery employee Tuesday morning who was found injured at the Welches Subway sandwich shop parking lot.
Oregon State Police Info: Lieutenant Gregg Hastings says the investigation indicates that today around 10:45 a.m., the victim, who works for Food Services of America, parked his commercial truck in the rear parking lot of the Welches Subway restaurant.

After nearly two years of relentless accusations and threat of jail time, it is now all a matter of history.
(PORT ORCHARD, Wash.) -
A Washington man who being prosecuted for marijuana in spite of the fact that he is a legal, registered medical marijuana patient in Washington, has been acquitted by a jury. His wife was also arrested in the May 2007 raid at their home, and she previously pleaded guilty over pressure from the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office in Port Orchard.
