Police say that after a car chase, suspect fled on foot but was quickly captured.

On Tuesday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m., employees of the Clackamas County Bank located at 2482 SE Burnside Rd called 911 indicating the bank was being robbed.
The robber was described as a 6'2 thin white male, wearing a motorcycle helmet and brandishing a gun. The suspect reportedly took an undisclosed amount of money.
A powerhouse of local sustainability representatives gathered in Salem last week.

Oregon State Police, with the assistance of the State Medical Examiner's Office and Monroe Police Department, are completing the investigation into the death of a missing Monroe, Washington man found Tuesday inside a locked utility trailer along the southern Oregon coast.
The man, whose body was found after troopers forced their way into the trailer, apparently locked himself inside and asphyxiated himself.

In its statement Monday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said migrant and domestic workers continue to face abuse, particularly in Middle Eastern and Asian countries, because authorities have lagged in adopting the measures needed to protect them.
The soldiers were assigned to the 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died February 23rd in Balad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their unit using small arms fire.
