Three Soldiers and One Airman Die in Military Operations

The DoD identifies casualties in both Afghanistan and Kuwait.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - The Department of Defense announced the deaths of two soldiers and one airman who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as the death of one soldier in Kuwait that was not combat-related.

It was reported today that Staff Sergeant Jeremy E. Bessa, 26, of Woodridge Illinois, died February 20th, in Khordi, Afghanistan, when his military vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device followed by small arms fire attack by enemy forces.

Organizers want to draw public attention to Lynch's case in hopes that Judge Wu will use his discretion to impose a lenient sentence on the 46-year old Lynch, who could face decades in federal prison.
