Parents Reminded to Get Kids Immunized by February 20th

A lack of immunization information kept 3,344 children out of school or child care last year.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Vaccination needles Public health officials are advising parents that, starting February 20th, children won't be able to go to school or child care if their records show they are missing immunizations.

State law requires that all children in public and private schools, pre-schools, Head Start and certified child care facilities be up-to-date on their immunizations, or have a religious or medical exemption.

Barack Moves Ahead in 3 State Primaries

In Barack's victory in Virgina last night, we won 142,000 more votes than all of the Republicans combined, and his victory margin over Senator Clinton is larger than John McCain's entire vote total.

Suspect in 1986 Salem Murder Arrested

Marion County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Squad makes arrest in 1986 Homicide Investigation.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 48-year old Patrick McCreary Investigators from the Marion County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Squad arrested 48-year old Patrick McCreary for the 1986 murder of Edward Jeffery Tuesday.

McCreary was arrested in Redmond, Oregon where he currently resides, and transported to the Marion County Jail where he has been lodged.

The news of this announcement times out exactly with a release from Clinton campaign titled, "Hillary Clinton Statement on Troubling Ohio Foreclosure Data".

The endorsement raises questions about more back room deals and one state receiving preferential treatment over an endorsement from one of its leading citizens. At any rate, Glenn says he is firmly behind Hillary's campaign.

Clackamas Deputy in Fatal Shooting Incident Identified

The Clackamas Sheriff's Office says the deputy is an admired member of the Office and in good standing.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Patrol Deputy who was recently involved in a shooting incident on SE 132nd Avenue over the weekend is formally identified by the Sheriff's Office as 30-year old Brian Lister.

Spokesman Jim Strovink says Lister resides in Clackamas County and was hired as a Deputy Sheriff by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office on January 25th, 2007.

Crash on Highway 26 Seriously Injures Two

Beaverton Police and ODOT are still on scene at this time, allowing one-lane of traffic to pass through the area of the crash.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - TVF&R Firefighters extricated the driver of the black car and assist in placing the patient on a stretcher to be transported by Metro West Ambulance crews to Legacy Emanuel Hospital. A head-on crash between two vehicles on westbound Highway 26 just west of the Bethany on-ramp Tuesday resulted in the serious injuries of two people. Beaverton Police and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue responding to the scene of the crash at at 3:42 PM.

Paul Wandell with Beaverton Police says the adult male driver of one vehicle was extricated rapidly and transported by Life Flight to OHSU's trauma center with possible life-threatening injuries.
