Missing Female Student from California Subject of FBI Search

(RENO, Nevada) - Brianna Zunino Dennison has been missing since January 20th, 2008 from Reno, Nevada.  She is a student at Santa Barbara City College. 20-year old Brianna Zunino Dennison has been missing since January 20th of this year. The FBI says Ms. Dennison disappeared a few hours after attending a social functions at an event center and a hotel/casino in Reno on January 19th 2008.

Armed Robbery Suspect Evades Capture in Keizer

The suspect is described as an adult male, approximately five feet four inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Robbery investigation Police are on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a woman at the FedEx Kinko’s on Jorie Lane Northeast in Keizer. Keizer patrol units responded to the reported robbery just after 8:30 PM.

Sergeant Alan McCowan with Keizer Police says officers arriving on the scene learned that a male adult entered the business and demanded the money from the cash drawer. He said the suspect was last seen fleeing through the front doors of the business and south towards Lockhaven Drive.

Guardsmen Use Defibrillator to Save a Life at Anderson Readiness Center

"It was like a miracle. I'd never seen it before…he'd come back." - Staff Sergeant Richard Powell, Army medic

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon Guardsman Richard Powell helped two fellow soldiers save a man`s life 2-13-08 with the automated external defibrillator. Oregon Guard Spokesman Major Michael S. Braibish, says it was a case of being in the worst of conditions, but in the right place at the right time.

A man, apparently suffering a heart attack, collapsed to the floor at the Anderson Readiness Center in Salem today just before noon, and soldiers of the Oregon Army National Guard were able to utilize a defibrillator and save his life.

Amber Alert Canceled for California Children

The suspects are 30-year old Damaris Nimet Amesquita and 27-year old Jose Angel Guzman Amesquita.

(LOS ANGELES) - The California Highway Patrol has canceled an Amber Alert for three children who they initially believed, were abducted at gunpoint by their biological parents on Thursday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol canceled the Amber Alert after the after it was determined that there was no threat of danger to the children and no gun was involved. The children remain missing at this time.

Two drivers Seriously Injured in Crash in Eagle Creek Area

One patient was Life Flighted from the scene but none of the injuries were considered to be life threatening.

(EAGLE CREEK, Ore.) - Crash scene near Estacada, Oregon, 2-13-08 Police say two drivers received non-life threatening injuries Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 224 and Heiple Road when two vehicles struck nearly head-on.

Senior Trooper Duane Larson says today at approximately 11:40 AM, a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am two-door driven by 49-year old Maureen Carol Treadway of Estacada, was westbound on Highway 224 when it pulled into the center left turn lane at the Heiple Road intersection.

The fishing port of Newport, Oregon has hired a Portland firm to launch a new image.

(NEWPORT, Ore.) - Newport, Oregon logo The central Oregon coast resort town of Newport has a new image – at least in the marketing sense.

Portland advertising firm Grady Britton has taken the helm on the city’s revamp in branding and tourism promotion, both around the state and eventually beyond that. Utilizing a realism kind of approach to the town, the firm is helping it to tout itself by simply being itself.

Investigators Say Drive-By Shooting in Aloha is Gang Related

The Gang Team with Aloha Police would like to hear from anyone with information about this shooting.

(ALOHA, Ore.) - Drive by shooting Nobody was injured in a drive-by shooting that was reported at 19965 S.W. York Street in Aloha early this morning, just after midnight. Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff's Office were called out to investigate.

Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says several bullets struck the occupied house, but no one inside was injured. The Interagency Gang Enforcement Team is investigating the shooting.
