While we have contacted a fair number of businesses in Oregon's capitol city for advertising and support, you will only find a small handful on our site.

It is sad, because Salem really needs us and if we don't get involved in the myriad problems, then they will go unresolved for years and years. So while our Salem coverage is not where we would like it to be, our greater coverage of Oregon as a state has increased.

Oregon Man Leaves Baby in Nevada Brothel Parking Lot

A security guard at the Mustang Ranch heard the small girl crying in a car.

(VIRGINIA CITY, Nev.) - Police say Lucien Hoffman of Bend, Oregon, was attending a private function inside the brothel when he left his two-year old alone in the car, in 95 degree heat. A Bend man is in custody for leaving his two-year old girl alone in an automobile at a Nevada brothel for more than two hours. Deputies investigating the case at the Mustang Ranch say the outside temperature was 95 degrees.

Roads Closing Near Bend Over Oregon Wildfire

Highway 20 is open but moving slowly, two other highways are evacuation routes from this part of Central Oregon.

(BLACK BUTTE, Ore.) - Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski at the last Black Butte Fire Evacuations have been ordered in the Black Butte area near Bend, Oregon over a wildland fire that had already burned 5,400 acres by this morning.

Carol Cushing with the Central Oregon Incident Management Team says 1,200 residences are on the evacuation list. The Level 3 fire evacuation order was issued by the Douglas County Sheriff at 2:30 PM, primary to fire behavior and public safety.

Fairview Woman Dies in Crash on Highway 62 Near Fort Klamath‏

The three individuals were reportedly employees at Crater Lake National Park.

(FOT KLAMATH, Ore.) - Crater Lake National Park A Fairview-area woman died late Sunday night in a single vehicle fatal crash on Highway 62 near Fort Klamath . Two others received minor injuries.

Oregon State Police say that Sunday at approximately 11:00 PM, a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 29-year old Renea Michelle Medgley of Fairview, was negotiating a left curve on Highway 62 near milepost 95 when it lost control.

Traffic Stop Near Bend Leads to Arrest of 3 Home Invasion Suspects

Police say they are related to area burglaries and car clouts in Central Oregon.

(BEND, Ore.) - Suspects inb Bend, Oregon burglary case Oregon State Police troopers arrested three Bend area residents Saturday morning when a traffic stop led troopers to connect the suspects with an earlier home-invasion type burglary in southwest Bend.

During the stop troopers say they found evidence related to other area burglaries, car clouts, and drugs.

Trucker Dies in Crash on Interstate 84 East of Pendleton‏

A passenger in the truck had to be freed by rescue workers, he had non life-threatening injuries.

(PENDLETON, Ore.) - crashed semi- 9-2-07 in Pendleton, Oregon Police say an Illinois commercial truck driver died Saturday night when he collided with a guardrail, after losing control of his truck and trailers westbound on Interstate 84.

It happened about twelve miles east of Pendleton on Cabbage Hill. A passenger in the truck received minor injuries.
