Idaho Senator Larry Craig Resigns After Sex Scandal

The resignation comes after media reports that Craig pleaded guilty Aug. 1st to a reduced misdemeanor charge from his arrest June 11th in a men's room at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Albany Homes Retested for Lead and Copper in Drinking Water‏

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Girl drinking water Nine of 60 Albany homes that were retested in June 2007 for lead and copper in the drinking water from their taps exceeded the EPA action level for lead in drinking water, according to Jim Young, Water Distribution Supervisor for the City of Albany.

"The City has found no indication of lead in City's water distribution system; the problem is with the plumbing in the homes," Young said.

Over 1500 Marijuana Plants Eradicated, Four Persons Arrested in Baker County

The estimated value of the seized marijuana plants was $3 million.

(BAKER COUNTY, Ore.) - Marijuana bust in Oregon, 8-31-07 State, federal, county and local law enforcement agencies recently completed the eradication of a large outdoor marijuana grow in Baker County that yielded more than 1,500 plants, some over 13 feet tall. Four people from Caldwell, Idaho have been arrested and the investigation is continuing.

Oregon State Police say that on August 23rd, troopers joined the Baker County Narcotics Enforcement team and the National Guard, in the second day of flights looking for outdoor marijuana grow sites.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Dana Perino The new White House Press Secretary, 34-year old Dana Perino, will take over the post after Tony Snow Steps down on September 14th. As the Deputy Press Secretary, she took over for a brief period while Snow was treated for colon cancer, and now she's coming back as the new official spokesperson for President George W. Bush.

Blogs and other publications see Perino as both gorgeous and sexy, and she is. But many questions remain, and it is too soon to tell at this point if her appearance and calm demeanor are what the administration needs as it battles to save face with a nation.

Police say they are not sure exactly what caused the driver lost control of his car.
