It happened in a wooded area off of Highway 47 and north of Highway 26.
(HILLSBORO, Ore.) -
The Washington County Major Crimes Team and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Unit are currently on the scene of a fatal shooting in western Washington County.
At this time investigators are reporting that a 15-year-old boy from Beaverton has been killed in what appears to be an accidental shooting.
Police here were on the lookout, the woman's family thought she was in Oregon.

Oregon State Police have confirmed through Walla Walla, Washington Police Department that a missing 67-year old Idaho woman has been located safe and sound at a Walla Walla area motel.
67-year old Linda Cook had not been scene since July 4th, when she unexpectedly left her Idaho home. She was found in good condition.
The child was discovered with her face wedged between the bed and the wall which led to suffocation.
(HILLSBORO, Ore.) -
Deputies and medical personnel responded to a report of a 15-month-old girl that had been discovered not breathing by her parents.
Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says the child had been sleeping on a "day bed" and it appeared that she suffocated when her head became wedged between the mattress and the wall. The child was revived and she was released from the hospital two days later.
Each section of the project includes northbound and southbound lanes.

Oregon Department of Transportation road crews will be repainting the white fog lines and the yellow barrier lines on Interstate 5 between Salem and Cottage Grove from July 9 through late August.
To minimize traffic disruptions, the crews will work at “off-peak” hours – between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with an occasional Sunday shift.

Weyerhaeuser Company announced the purchase and sale agreement of its plywood mill in Springfield, Oregon. to Pacific States Industries, Inc. of San Jose, California.
"We are pleased to reach mutually agreeable terms with Pacific States Industries," said Cathy Slater, vice president of Weyerhaeuser's veneer technologies.
U.S. Must Keep Terror Threat 'Real' to Other Nations, Official Says.

An American diplomat is concerned that the United States "war on terror" is not being taken seriously in the world, and that the American effort is falling flat in some areas.
Shouldn't it be a good sign if entire nations are missing the boat? Americans are made to run scared by the President administration's dire warnings and "color coded" terrorist alerts, but other people in other places don't seem to take the bait.
