Vancouver Police Seek the Public`s Help to Locate Armed Robbery Suspect

(VANCOUVER, Wa.) - Vancouver Police are seeking information from the public on the possible whereabouts of 23-year old Mario Blanco. Blanco is a black male, 5' 10", 165 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, with his last known address being 10709 NE 93rd
Street in Vancouver.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Blanco for First Degree Robbery. Blanco allegedly used a gun to commit a robbery in May 2006. During the investigation a gun was recovered, but Blanco should still be considered armed and dangerous.

Governor Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Memory of Oregon Soldier

Flags in Oregon will be lowered Monday March 26th, in honor of Sergeant 1st Class John Stephens.

(SALEM) - Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski has ordered all flags at public institutions be flown at half-staff on Monday, in memory of Sgt. 1st Class John Stephens of La Grande.

Stephens, 41, died Thursday, March 15th in Tikrit, Iraq.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Edwards for President Announces Oregon Campaign Leadership

(SALEM) - The John Edwards for President campaign has announced that Oregon State Senate President Pro Tem Margaret Carter and attorney and democratic activist Robert Stoll would lead the campaign's efforts in Oregon.

"I am glad to have the support of Margaret Carter, Robert Stoll and all these important Oregon leaders," said Edwards.

Carter is President Pro Tem of the Oregon State Senate and was the Oregon Chair for President Clinton's 1992 and 1996 Presidential campaign.

Body Found on Oregon Coast Identified as Silverton Man Missing Since Weekend Plane Crash

Debris from the plane was found in the Lincoln City area Saturday and Sunday.

(LINCOLN CITY, Ore. ) - Oregon State Police Identification Services Section was able to positively identify the body discovered Wednesday morning on the ocean shore of Salishan Spit south of Lincoln City as 58-year-old Raymond Patrick Mullen, from Silverton.

Positive identification was made through fingerprints.

Mullen and another person, 61-year-old Larry Underhill, from Woodburn, were missing since the crash of an airplane off the Oregon coast.
