Problems Continue for Keizer Kidnap/Robbery Victim

(KEIZER) - Keizer Police say a kidnapping and robbery victim was victimized again early the next morning, with the disappearance of his 2002 Ford Explorere Sport Track.

At about 3:00 AM Wednesday morning, Aguilar contacted the Keizer Police Department to report that another vehicle belonging to him was stolen from the parking lot of his residence sometime between 8:00 PM on March 7th and 3:00 AM in the morning.

Medical Director and Physician Will Head the Office of Medical Assistance Programs

(SALEM) - A noted health care leader -- with more than 30 years of professional health care management experience -- was named Wednesday to direct the state Medicaid office in the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS).

DHS Director Bruce Goldberg says 60-year old Allen Douma, M.D. of Ashland, will begin the job June 1st, heading the Office of Medical Assistance Programs that operates the Medicaid portion of the Oregon Health Plan.

Wyden called the next two months crucial, saying that unless a national government can unify Iraq's warring factions, the country is headed on a "downward spiral" into civil war or even anarchy.

(Salem) - School Gymnasium floors throughout Salem/Keizer middle schools that were built in the 1970`s contain levels of mercury that result from early building technologies no longer used.

A report from the Department of Human Services concluded that no apparent health hazard exists to students, faculty or community groups who use the gymnasiums in the school district.

(CORVALLIS) - Corvallis Police arrested a Corvallis man after a burglary investigation led officers to believe the victim was growing marijuana inside his home.

Lt. Ron Noble says officers went to investigate a residential burglary complaint at 655 SE Bell Ave on Sunday.

During the burglary investigation officers say they developed probable cause to believe the victim in the burglary, 39-year-old Philip Ormsby, was growing marijuana inside his home.

(Keizer) - Police say a Salem man is OK after being kidnapped and robbed in Keizer Monday evening in the area of 3800 block of River Road North. The experience started between 5:00 and 5:15 PM, lasted three and a half hours, and ended with a gunshot being fired into the victim`s car while he was inside.

Keizer Police Captain Jeff Kuhns says officers first learned of the kidnapping and robbery incident at 8:45 PM, approximately 3 ½ hours after it began.
