Gang Related Shooting in Portland Leaves One Man Injured

The Portland Police Bureau Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task Force are continuing to actively investigate gang and gun crimes in the City of Portland.

(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - Portland Shooting On Sunday, at 12:44 a.m., Portland Police North Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to North Interstate Avenue and Killingsworth Street on the report of a shooting.

Officers arrived and located a male adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks. The victim was transported to a Portland hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

Salem, Willamette Valley Wild Weather Gives Way to Heat

Temperatures in Salem and the mid-Willamette valley are expected to climb back into the 90's on Monday.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Oregon Lightning Salem and most parts of Oregon, was greeted Sunday morning by thunderstorms, with lightning and booming thunder, that later in the day produced small hail and gusty winds, but has now worked it's way out of the state giving way to warmer temperatures again.

The thunderstorms did knockout some power in various locations of the state for a short time, and those visiting the Marion County Fair sought cover as the fast moving thunderstorms rolled through the mid-Willamette Valley.

Six People Hurt in Head-On Crash Near Creswell

One of the Nissan's occupants, 42-year-old Maria Ynez, from Eugene, was transported by air ambulance.

(CRESWELL, Ore. ) - Creswell Oregon Crash Oregon State Police is continuing their investigation into the cause of Saturday evening's serious injury two vehicle head-on traffic crash on Highway 200 west of Creswell.

According to Trooper Cale Day, at approximately 3:42 p.m., a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by 20-year-old Rick A. Kitzel from Eugene, was traveling southbound on Territorial Highway near milepost 34 at Hamm Road when the pickup crossed the centerline.

OSP troopers found the suspects vehicle and observed the victim's property and a knife inside the vehicle.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 38-year-old Eric L. Colliander, from Oregon City, was traveling westbound on Highway 224 near milepost 31 when left the highway on the north side shoulder into a ditch.
