(MELBOURNE) - The Burmese Rohingya Community in Australia (BRCA) condemns the inhuman act of killing Muslims in central Burma from the 20th of March 2013 and would like to urge the United Nations and lnternational Communities to ungently intervene to protect Muslim minorities in Burma from a pre-planned massacre.

On 20 March 2013, a heated argument between a Muslim gold shop owner and his Buddhist customers erupted, which gave the opportunity to create a killing field for Muslims in central Burma; in Meiktila first and then continued to other surrounding areas and Yamethin in 23 March 2013.
