Adderall, Dexedrine, Vyvanse, Concerta, Strattera, and Ritalin are the deadly culprits.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The New York Times just published a new big article on December 15th, 2013 about the extreme dangers of this type of medicine and the repugnant, craven quakes who make millions of dollars advocating for and writing prescriptions for these drugs.

These actions have boosted sales from $2 Billion to $8 Billion a year in the last 10 years. And in the process have produced many Multi-Millionaire Doctors.

They have done this by what The New York Times called "The Selling of ADD" with patently false advertising. The US Government have fined on advocate $57.5 Million for false and egregious advertising. This was after the manufacturer paid $186 million for the rights to the company making Adderall. We are talking really big money here.

The New York Times printed an article on 2-2-13, "Drowned In A Stream Of Prescription." and many others interested in ADD have stated that Adderall is the most abused prescription drug in America. I'll say so with $9 Billion in prescriptions per year.

I have written six articles comparing marijuana with the above drugs. I especially compared marijuana with Adderall the leading ADD/ADHD drug, titled "Autism, ADD & ADHD; Marijuana VS Adderall Therapy". Why this should be so is not known. They are totally different types of drugs.

The main difference in my mind is that marijuana as medicine, or even non-medical use, has NEVER KILLED ANYONE. The ADD drugs mentioned in the title have killed thousands. Their life threatening, adverse effects are:

  • Increased blood pressure (can be lethal)
  • Increased heart rate (can be lethal)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of appetite and weight
  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Delays in physical development
  • They also cause violent behavior, hallucinations and delusions. They are also extremely addictive. Marijuana has almost none of these bad attributes.

MARIJUANA IS THE SAFEST, MOST USEFUL DRUG!

    February 22, 1923 - May 2, 2015 (RIP)
Dr. Leveque was one of Oregon's first toxicologists and served as an expert witness in more than 400 cases. "I won about 80% of my cases and angered a lot of lawyers in the process," he laughed. "Doc" was instrumental in the creation of Oregon law that allowed the use of Medical Marijuana in the late 1990's, and became notorious when The Oregonian dubbed him "Oregon's Most Dangerous Doctor". All because he knew the benefits of medicinal cannabis and shared that information with others. This Oregon doctor signed medical marijuana applications for over 5,000 patients during his tenure, about 1,000 being Veterans. He gave the patients his all.
Dr. Leveque was a WWII Veteran and suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) nearly 70 years. Because he had a unique understanding of the effects of PTSD, he specialized in treating Veterans during his years as a doctor in Molalla, Oregon. Many of them attribute their success in overcoming hard drug and alcohol addiction to his help and support. He authored several books, "General Patton's Dogface Soldiers", his WWII memoir, is the most notable.
Dr. Leveque began working with Salem-News.com in 2007, and quickly became an integral part of our team. We could barely keep up with him. Our friend and mentor, Dr. Phil Leveque will always be greatly missed.
