(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon Green Free (OGF), a 501 (c) 3 federal nonprofit, and Oregon’s largest medical marijuana organization is pleased to be opening a clinic at 10209 SE Division Ave, Building B, in Portland, Oregon. Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) cardholders are invited back to our clinic for an open house/barbeque for patients, caregivers and growers on Saturday, July 10th from 12:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Through OGF, patients can find everything needed to accomplish the goal of achieving relief through the use of medical cannabis as well as finding a community united behind the goal of ensuring that all patients have access to the nontoxic natural medicine.
With the opening of a clinic, OGF can help patients navigate through every aspect of the OMMP, from what it takes to register with the program to ensuring an adequate supply of medicine to keeping informed of the latest scientific developments to staying politically active to help protect the OMMP. “Oregon Green Free is uniquely positioned to help patients with every aspect of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program and all of the rules, regulations and obstacles cardholders must overcome. Our website, with an online community of over 5,000 people, is a great networking tool that keeps patients and providers up-to-date on the latest scientific and political developments. "Our classes and meetings, held at fourteen chapters across Oregon provide networking opportunities and help keep patients informed who may not be active on the internet. Our patient resource center on SE 174th & Division provides a social setting for patients. OGF’s Grateful Garden Supply provides discounted growing supplies and equipments for cardholders. "Finally, we are politically active, helping protect and improve the OMMP, at the ballot box, legislature and administrative hearings,” said Jim Klahr, CEO of Oregon Green Free, Chair of the Oregon Advisory Committee on Medical Marijuana and Co-Chief Petitioner of I-28.
