Medical Marijuana: Tod Mikuriya

In memoriam: The outstanding Guru and my friend.

The late Dr. Tod Mikuriya
The late Dr. Tod Mikuriya

(MOLLALA, Ore.) - It is appropriate to call Dr. Tod Mikuriya a guru. He was certainly the most outstanding Doctor – Teacher – Leader for the use of medical marijuana in the world.

He has done more literature research, written more medical – scientific articles and published the best book “Medical Marijuana Papers 1839-1972” on the historical aspects of medical marijuana than any other person or collection of persons.

Actually his literature research went back to 2000 B.C. when marijuana/ cannabis was used for medical purposes. For the modern age of medical marijuana, he surveyed about 20 thousand patients’ medical marijuana charts and discovered that about 200 medical conditions were benefited by the use of medical marijuana.

He had about 9,000 patients on medical marijuana.

About 400 thousand legal medical marijuana patients and millions more who use it illegally for medical purposes can and should thank Dr. Tod Mikuriya for leading the way and making it legal for medical use.
