(SALEM) - Late Sunday afternoon, deputies with the Marion County Sheriff's Office arrested Daniel Alik for a number of charges after his car reportedly jumped the sidewalk and crashed into the ice machine outside of the Sunrise Market in the 3500 block of Silverton Road.

Alick receives sobriety test.

He was charged with DUII, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

Fortunately, no one was walking between the car and ice machine when the crash took place. Investigators say the impact pushed the ice machine through the glass window of the store front.

No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.

Investigators say Daniel Alik was twice the legal limit by the time he arrived at the Marion County Jail.
