PTSD Psychotic Soldier Kills Afghan Civilians

Army superiors should have seen this coming. Will they see the next one?

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - soldiers in Afghanistan This terrible psychotic act was/is predictable and the soldier involved needs to be in a psychiatric facility as soon as possible. The “system” which put him there for his fourth deployment, the first three in Iraq, is to blame. His immediate superiors, Sergeants and officers at the least should get a reprimand, but better, fines and probable discharges for dereliction of duty which this certainly is.

The Army trained this soldier to be a killer with a hair trigger and behold—what has happened—he snapped.

Senate Stands Up for Women Defeating Blunt Amendment

The U.S. Senate defeated the Blunt amendment by a vote of 51-48.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Monsanto and Gates Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, made this statement on the defeat in the Senate of Sen. Roy Blunt’s proposal to undermine health insurance and deny women birth control coverage:

Oregon Bikers Go Wild to Help Kids Enjoy Christmas

Bikers make a lot of noise when it comes to making kids happy.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Christmas gift Bikers from all around the Willamette Valley are joining together this weekend in an effort to create a wonderful Christmas for some needy kids.

For the second year in a row, Salem's "Bikers Gone Wild" Toy Run will collect and distribute gifts to kids of all ages living at Salem's Oxford houses, as well as to the SOS Club, and the Salem Hospital Pediatric Wing.

UPDATE: Missing Jefferson Woman FOUND

Lori Smith was missing for over three days, and has been FOUND.

(JEFFERSON, Ore.) - Lori Lee Smith UPDATE:
Police say Lori Lee Smith was located Saturday evening by an Officer with the Albany Police Department. She was in good condition and told the Officer that she left Jefferson voluntarily. She was asked to contact her family, but she didn't wish to have further contact with them at this time.

Family members were contacted and updated by deputies.

Afghan Girl Reportedly Raped, Killed by US Troops

The incident comes as violence in Afghanistan has spiked to record highs since the US-led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001.

(TEHRAN / Press TV) - Afghan rape victim US forces in five Toyota Hiace vans are said to have transferred a teenage girl along with several other Afghan women and girls to a military base in the province.

They then sexually assaulted them according to Afghan sources, who requested anonymity. They spoke to Iran Newspaper Wednesday.
